The latest developer update for Witchfire is out there and offers up a look at some of the weapons and world coming in Witchfire
It has been a while since we had word on how Witchfire has been coming along and it looks like we have a new update to take in. It would seem like this is a good thing, as it would seem that The Astronauts have been hard at work on the game instead of giving us short little updates that would dig into that time. That is the positive path I am going to go with for now for Witchfire, as it still does not show us any signs of when we can expect to see it hit the PC or any live gameplay. I know, I am demanding here.
What we do have here for Witchfire are a few new screenshots to show off how the lighting for the game is coming along and a little more on one of the weapons in the game. Nothing too groundbreaking, sure, but it is a solid look at how the atmosphere of the game will look and feel. Also, the attention to detail they are going into on the weapons as well. It is also fun to see the short video clip of when things go wrong in games with one of Witchfire‘s enemies knocking the player well out of the playable space. Something I am sure will be gone before the final build.
Witchfire — Ogre Homerun
The programming team is seriously busy at work (we lost Piotr for two weeks, but he had a good excuse: got married), with occasional sparkles of WTF. This is how it feels to fight a Sekiro boss.
Have you been wondering what is going on with Witchfire before now or did you figure no news was good news? How are you feeling about the lighting effects we will see here in the game and do you think they are close to complete? When do you suspect we will see a truly final build for the game and will it be before the end of the year? Let us have those answers and more down in the comments. When we are able to get another update for Witchfire, we will have it all here for you. All you have to do is keep checking in for all of that and more.
