A new delay has hit Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, as we will now be seeing Bloodlines 2 in 2021 now on all of those platforms
Add another title to the growing list of titles getting delayed still, as Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 has been pushed out to 2021 now. Granted, we did not have a solid date to look at for the game before now but it was originally slated for 2020. Now, so Hardsuit Labs can reach their goals, it is pushed out to a time undetermined next year. It could be early next year or it could be all the way out to October for us to see Bloodlines 2. Not that we have any inside scoop here and are just speculating. On the bonus side, there should be no gap between when the game hits the PS4 and Xbox One before we get the update for the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Silver lining and all that.
There are no real reasons why Bloodlines 2 is pushed beyond that and you can read the announcement just a bit lower down. The team just wanted to be at a specific point and I am certain that COVID has made that a bit more difficult to reach. That is how I will imagine it even though they did not state it directly. There is a lot riding on the team for Bloodlines 2 given the last title’s popularity, so they really do need to nail it or face a world of backlash from the public. Although, I am a bit curious about what the other options they explored were before actually going through with the delay we now have to deal with.
Did you have some fears that Bloodlines 2 was going to get hit with delays or is this a bit of a shock for you? Do you think that we will get all of the current and next-gen releases at the same time or will we have to wait for that update? What do you think the other options were before they finally landed on delay? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more to share for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, you know we will share it all here. All you need to do is keep checking back in for all of those updates and much more.
