A few more details for Resident Evil 3 have been released after it has been confirmed that we will have a whole lot more of Resident Evil soon
Last week, we had Resident Evil 3 officially confirmed and we had a nice little run of basics that would be coming with the game. The excitement hit a fever pitch as all of the basics of it all flowed out there. Now we fast-forward a bit and now we have Capcom still out there showing off the game but now with a little more detail to back it all up and give us some more to go on with how this version of Resident Evil 3 will be when we get it on our PS4, Xbox One, and PC this coming April 3rd. Given that the game has been rebuilt from the ground up, as they say, it is nice to get a bit more than just the character models being altered and the visuals getting a nice overhaul. Something that has caused the gaming community to go a bit bonkers with recently.
The bigger one being on how Jill and Carlos have changed over in this Resident Evil 3 version from the past ones. Given that we are getting a more action-oriented title here, it makes sense that the character designs be shifted toward that feel instead of what we know. This is what has happened as well as the over-the-shoulder camera angle that is coming too. All while being hunted down by the new Nemesis in Resident Evil 3 here. Something we should have expected back in the rumor state of it all as it worked out well for the last title and we should have been ready for here. Take it all as you will and just be glad we are getting another great entry here before a hopefully full new title in the mix.
Resident Evil 3 — Special Developer Message
Resident Evil 3 returns to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3rd, 2020. Experience Jill Valentine’s encounter with the unrelenting Nemesis in this survival-horror classic remade from the ground up.
It also includes Resident Evil Resistance, a new 1 vs 4 asymmetrical online multiplayer game set in the Resident Evil universe. Cooperate as one of four Survivors or as a twisted Mastermind attempting to stop them at every turn.
How do you feel about the character designs in Resident Evil 3 here or should we have kept the more nostalgic versions for the angry gamers out there? Do you think the action-oriented gameplay works for these games or should they have gone down the RE7 path here? Do you like the look of the two statues next to each other from the collector’s editions or will you be skipping out on it all? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. For more on Resident Evil 3 and the franchise as it comes, be sure to keep checking in here. We will keep it all coming at you as best as we can.
