Damned 2 Is On Its Way To Allow More Of Us To Become The Monster Inside

Damned 2 — Gamescom Latam

A sequel to Damned is on the way with Damned 2 offering up a bit more gameplay out of the gamescom latam event

Another asymmetrical multiplayer title is on the way with Damned 2 getting a new showcasing during the gamescom latam event going down. A new way for us to experience some horror in the world on the PC from 9heads Games Studios, so hopefully you have not been burnt out on that genre as of yet. If you have, maybe Damned 2 will offer up something new for you as it is not based on any specific IP and could be able to branch out further than the others. All while keeping players working together and trying to outfox the monster that we all know is lurking inside. Both the game and the individual players of the game. See what we did there?

In Damned 2, as you will get a bit to see below, we get to team up with four of our friends in the game as we try to solve puzzles and escape the cursed place. All with each of the puzzles and items needed to solve everything being placed randomly about the location. Not too hard of a deal until you realize that a fifth player, or AI bot, will be hunting you down as one of the various monsters in the game. All with their own powers and abilities in the mix to build up until they can take a physical form in Damned 2. A lot like we have seen in other titles, sure, but this one does have the freedom of the artists behind the game, as I mentioned. Have a look and see what is taking form for it all just a little lower down the page.

Damned 2 — Gamescom Latam

Damned 2 is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game where four survivors must explore an immersive environment in search of keys and objects to escape. Meanwhile, another player takes on the role of a monster, in charge of scaring and eliminating the survivors.

This group of survivors must explore different scenarios searching for items, such as keys to open doors, puzzle solutions, and a way out of this cursed place. These items can appear anywhere, and in each new game, their positions will be randomized, as well as the puzzles and their solutions.

All puzzles are designed to be solved faster when survivors cooperate and communicate with each other. Survivors win the game when everyone who is alive passes through the exit door.

The monster, which can be controlled by a player, or AI, needs to use its abilities to hunt down survivors. Monsters’ skills can be used to gain energy, locate survivors, facilitate the hunt, or delay survivors’ advance while scaring them simultaneously. When a monster is full of energy, it can transform into its physical form to kill the survivors.

Features:
