A follow up to the acclaimed Hellbade is coming as we just had the announcement of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 at The Game Awards

It looks like we not only have one of the first Xbox Series X titles announced, but also a follow up to one of the more interesting titles of 2017 as Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is coming now. One of the bigger and more surprising announcements during The Game Awards for myself as Ninja Theory is bringing this amazing IP back for us. Even if it does seem to be limited to the specific console now. No matter your feeling on it all, we are going to see the sage of Hellblade continue and bringing with it all of the glorious advancement in the industry that it was known for. Also, I am hoping, more of the advancement in the understanding as a society in terms of mental illness that was a big factor in the original title.

There is not much known for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 outside of what was mentioned above, as information was rather limited during the announcement. What else is known for the game is that you can see the trailer running real-time on the XSX as well as in-engine. All of which is below and look insanely impressive. It also looks like Melina Juergens is back as the titular character in Hellblade 2 and we may get to see more of her tribe/clan in the game. That is all speculation based on the following trailer, but it does seem to be a safe bet. Have a look at it if you missed out before and get ready to hopefully see this title around the same time of the console launch.

Are you as excited to see a Hellblade 2 as I am or will you be holding with bated breath until we get more details? Do you think all of this is truly running without any extra backend support or will it come out that this was a version of the trailer that Microsoft wanted to run? How much deeper into the mental illness side of things do you think the game will go given all of the other announcements the developer has made recently? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss them at length. When there is anything more to share for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, we will share it all here. All you have to do is keep checking back in for all of that and much more.
