Some new gameplay for The Last Of Us Part II is here after the big reveal that also gives us a look at how The Last Of Us has evolved
We had the big news drop on us this week for The Last Of Us Part II as well as a bit of new gameplay in the mix. It was all kinds of hype it has brought so much excitement to everyone out there. Something that I am certain is going over well with Naughty Dog here. All of us being as we are, though, we are always looking for more for The Last Of Us Part II and here we go with just a bit more. Now that the blocks have been lifted on all of those other outlets that have been lucky enough to head out and check out the three-hour demo for the game. Something that sounds to be massive as this will only be a small slice of what will be coming to the PS4 this coming February.
I am sure you are going to just jump down and watch things for yourself, but a few of the new takeaways from The Last Of Us Part II are as follows. We are obviously taking a five-year-jump in the timeline. Things have progressed a bit further with the infected and where humanity is still at. Ellie will be our main character and has a few more agile options when it comes to combat and traversal. We are getting a dedicated jump button that will feel realistic and not exaggerated. A new scent mechanic will be in The Last Of Us Part II that we will need to deal with. That is also on top of the few new infected and raider types in the wild as well.
The Last Of Us Part II — 3 Hrs Hands-On Impressions
I was one of the few. I have 3 hours of The Last Of Us Part II playtime under my belt. These are my thoughts. Ask any questions you have.
If that was not enough for you to take in there, we do have a different angle of The Last Of Us Part II demo directly from the source. It is more of the same B-Roll footage but with a bit more of the emphasis on the tone and scope of the game we will be undertaking here. The whole thing is a bit flipped from the previous entry into The Last Of Us where we will be playing out a revenge story more than a “love” story. We will have to face our own humanity in the game with enemies feel the same level of sorrow and remorse as we will when we take down random enemies in the world. It will be a little more telling for the players if you do ask me. Have a look at just what will be in store.
