A longer gameplay demo for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is here to show off how missions will flow and the various options available in Bloodlines 2
Now that we had a nice look at the visuals for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 earlier in the week, it is time to see just how all of that will function in practice. A bit more than we have seen from Hardsuit Labs in the past at that, as we have almost a half-hour of gameplay to take in and enjoy. Most of which looks like it is the longer version of the bits we have seen already for Bloodlines 2 and what was shown off at previous events, but it is for the public now and we can all enjoy. Also see just how this may run on our PC, Xbox One, and PS4 when it launches next year. You know, the normal stuff.
What is interesting to note here is that it looks like the combat is close to the same as I remember from the last title in the franchise. There are a few extra animations and “flare” to it here for Bloodlines 2, but it looks the same. It is interesting to see that we can use the fog form to get sucked through air vents to solve puzzles or continue our stealth play. Not to mention all of the fun little nods to things we could only imagine from the tabletop forms of the game, but now get to see in action within Bloodlines 2. Ironically looking at you Obfuscate…
