The release date for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is set and we can look to play this Marvel Ultimate Alliance title in the middle of July
This July is going to be kicking it all right as it looks like Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order has secured a solid release date now when it comes exclusively to the Switch. Love it or hate it for the exclusivity, but it is coming and Team Ninja has a date set for it now. You can look a bit further down the page or keep reading this as we are going to hold on to that for as long as possible. We need to build the anticipation like all of the films and other Marvel Ultimate Alliance titles have done over the last decade. We cannot let it slip through that the game is coming out on July 19th now. It is our secret…
Well, the cat is out of the bag there and now you know when Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is dropping. It is a solid date and weirdly the day before this year’s International Comic-Con starts up. There could be some great reasons for this, but I find it interesting. Just as the quiet announcement that Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 will also be mixing in Black Panther, Deadpool, Spider-Gwen, and Doctor Strange to the game too. All characters we figured would be in there but all are confirmed to be coming. I am sure there will be more. We will just need to wait and see as we head off to the release date that is now set.

On July 19, the Marvel Ultimate Alliance series returns for the first time in 10 years… and it’s only available on the Nintendo Switch system. In the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order game, you’ll assemble your ultimate team of Marvel Super Heroes from a huge cast, including the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and X-Men, among many others.
While iconic characters like Iron Man, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Hulk, and Captain America are back, newly announced heroes like Black Panther, Deadpool, Spider-Gwen, and Doctor Strange also join the action, each with individual abilities or special moves.
In this new story, Super Heroes unite in a race across iconic locations in the Marvel Universe to find the Infinity Stones before Thanos and The Black Order use them to unleash cosmic chaos. Up to four people can play together in local or online co-op, with the ability to drop in and out at any time.
Did you figure that this would be about when Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 would be dropping? Do you think we will see a whole lot more characters added in as we get closer to the date or will there only be a few more along the way? Are you still holding out hope that we could see the game drop on other platforms? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. If there is more to share for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, we will share it all here. Just be sure to keep checking in for all of that between now and launch.
