Paper Mario: The Origami King Is Almost Here With New Gameplay

Paper Mario: The Origami King — Join The Adventure

A little bit more gameplay is out there for Paper Mario: The Origami King as we are almost there for the release for this new Paper Mario title

In just over a week, we will be able to have the fun of Paper Mario: The Origami King on the Switch. It will take us back into the lands of the Mushroom Kingdom a bit more as Mario and Olivia head out to save the day as is normally the case. The only big difference is that this is all in the Paper Mario form and the big bad of the story is a new one trying to fold the world to his whims. Also, to give us all a bit more of a 3D feel to the game besides the normal 2D paper format we have played many times already. Either way, July 17th is just around the corner and we will have the game in hands.

If you are looking for something more to sell you on this new Paper Mario title, we do have a new trailer for the game that houses a little more exposition and gameplay to enjoy. There was a quick turnaround on the announcement and release for this Paper Mario game, so it makes sense that we would all want a bit more to further sell us. That is what this 30-second spot is here to do. Even more, as it does show off a few more locations we will be jumping around in the game. Also, some sweet dancing segments for those that have that in their jam house.

Paper Mario: The Origami King — Join The Adventure

The kingdom has been ravaged by an origami menace! Join Mario and his new partner, Olivia, as they battle evil Folded Soldiers, repair the damaged landscape, and try to free Princess Peach’s castle from the clutches of King Olly in this comedy-filled adventure, only on the Nintendo Switch system.

Have been waiting for a new Paper Mario game long enough to be overjoyed to see this one is coming? Do you like the fact it will go a little more 3D than we have seen in the past? Are you over the same story we are getting for Peach or does it still draw you back in no matter the case? Let us all know down in the comments about what you are thinking. Obviously, if we have anything more to share for Paper Mario: The Origami King, or the IP in general, we will share it all here. Be sure to keep checking in for that and much more.
