Get One More Look Before The PC Release Of Close To The Sun

Close To The Sun — Launch Trailer

One last trailer for Close To The Sun is here just before the launch of the PC version for Close To The Sun with few updates

For those that have been waiting to add a new horror adventure to their list of PC games during this quarantine, you can look no further as Close To The Sun is dropping on us tomorrow (5/5/20). It is weird to say that as the initial release date for it was set by Wired Productions for May 2nd but a three day wait is not as bad as some of those others out there. Granted, that is only if you are looking for Close To The Sun on the PC as the date for the PS4 and Xbox One versions have yet to be set as of this writing. That cannot be too far off, but it is a wait you will have to make as we continue forward here.

With that all said, we have the latest trailer for Close To The Sun to help usher in the game’s launch with a bit more to spy in terms of gameplay. It all still has that BioShock feel to it all but given the fact that Storm In A Teacup is using a similar era setting for the game here, that is not too surprising. We will have to dig further into what is going on in the story and what the quarantine in Close To The Sun is all about to make a better judgment. That or we can judge a video game by its trailer and assume it is going to be just that. It is not the way I normally go for games like this but humans are weird and fickle creatures.

Close To The Sun — Launch Trailer

“The present is theirs; the future is mine.” — Nikola Tesla

It’s 1897. Deep in international waters, the Helios stands still. Dark clouds loom overhead as unforgiving waves crash against the hull. Colossal effigies of gold, decorated with magnificent finery, stretch as far as the eye can see.

Born of Nikola Tesla’s vision, the Helios serves as a haven for the greatest scientific minds. An unbound utopia for research, independent from state and isolated from the gaze of society. Free to push the boundaries of matter and time.

Journalist Rose Archer steps aboard the Helios in search of her sister Ada. She quickly discovers not all is as it seems. Grand halls stand empty. The stench of rotting flesh lingers in the air. Silence. A single word is painted across the entrance… QUARANTINE!

Have you been waiting eagerly for Close To The Sun to drop on us out there or did you forget it was coming with all of the weird release dates we have had so far? When do you suspect it will come to the consoles or is that going to be on hold for a while now? Do you have the same feeling when it comes to the look or are you just assuming that they lifted things directly from the other source and are not going to give it a chance? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more for Close To The Sun, we will have it here. Be sure to keep checking in for all of that and much more.
