Dead By Daylight Has A New Hero Coming With Ash Williams

Dead By Daylight — Ash J. Williams

Ash Williams of Evil Dead fame is coming to Dead By Daylight as a completely new survivor with new perks just for Dead By Daylight

In a game called Dead By Daylight it always felt weird that the IP that helped spawn the phrase in other words was not included. For this I am talking about “Dead By Dawn!” and maybe it was just the fact that Behaviour just could not get the rights to it. At least before now as it look like the ‘King’, Ash Williams, will now be heading out in the world of Dead By Daylight to kick some demon ass. Yes, he is now coming and will be out there on April 2nd for all who want him on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. My inner horror geek is now screaming with joy; even if we do not get to use the chainsaw arm with this.

This is not the biggest issue for this DLC for Dead By Daylight when you look at the fact that Bruce Campbell will be lending his voice to the game. I know that he said he would be doing at least voice work for the character after retiring it from the Ash Vs Evil Dead show ended, and now we see what that is. I was hoping for a full on title featuring the character, but I will totally take him in Dead By Daylight. Have a look at a bit of the tease and a flashlight hand that he will be using in the game. Just the right level of awesome for the character in my eyes.

Dead By Daylight — Ash J. Williams

Ash Williams arrives as the blowhard heroic monster fighter. 30 years after encountering creatures of unspeakable evil that cost him his hand he returned in Ash vs Evil Dead as America’s oldest one-handed stock boy. Now, he’s back again in Dead By Daylight.

Ash Williams will be available in the in-game store on PC through Steam and other digital distribution channels and on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 2nd.

Are you as excited for Ash Williams to join Dead By Daylight or do you think they should have added in a different character? Do you think we will get to see the chainsaw arm in the game or will that be too overpowered for the game? Did you suspect that Bruce Campbell would be the voice without the announcement above or did you think he would have been quiet the whole time? (As if.) Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. When we have more for Dead By Daylight, we will add it all here. Be sure to keep checking back in for all of that.
