Borderlands 3 Is Officially A Thing With This Announcement

There were many Borderlands announcements out at PAX East with Borderlands 3 getting the official announcement treatment

The rumors have been swirling for Borderlands 3 for a while now and out of PAX East this year, we have confirmation that it is indeed a game that is coming. It is not as if Gearbox would toy with everyone over this, get their hopes up, and then have them be crushed later on. It is not their way and even with the technical issues and teasing during the event, we finally have a solid look at Borderlands 3 with gameplay and the usual stuff that gets mixed into these games. That and the two villains that we will be facing off with as two villains seems to be the video game standard now.

You can see the new trailer for Borderlands 3 just below and try to figure out what other little bits you can from it all. It does look like there is a new Siren here and we will have the good old four-player co-op again. The graphics in the game do look to have a bit more of a shine to them all even with the art style used here. Other than that, it is all of the new looks for characters and other weirdness we could want in a Borderlands game, as it is just a bit more than the teaser we had before the event. That can be seen at the very bottom for those who missed out on that before.

In addition to Borderlands 3 getting the announcement, we also have news that the original titles are getting a full remaster, again, for the PS4 and Xbox One. At least it feels like again as on April 3rd we will be able to pick up the Borderlands Game Of The Year edition with all the features we could have wanted back then and 4K. Also the Handsome Jack collection and Pre-Sequel are getting all of these cool little updates. The bigger news being that the original will be back with Shift Codes, four-player split-screen action, and in 4K with all of the DLC for the current systems. PC gamers will get the update for free before you start to get upset.
