Two More Maps Have Been Added To Umbrella Corps’ Arsenal

Umbrella Corps — Return To Raccoon City And The RPD Building

Two more iconic maps have been added to Umbrella Corps and we have a look at a whole lot of bonuses available for Umbrella Corps pre-orders

Add two more maps to the list of Umbrella Corps maps that we will get to blast our way through on June 21st. It looks like Capcom has brought back both Raccoon City and the RCP building for us to hunt down and kill each other in when the game launches on the PS4 and PC. As if these two locations would be left out of Umbrella Corps in the first place. Thankfully now we get to see both of them in motion for the first time as we let the anticipation for the game kill us like the zombie hordes will do in the game itself.

To go along with these extra maps it also looks like there is already a huge DLC pack up and ready for us to purchase before launch. Smartly titled, The Upgrade Pack comes to Umbrella Corps for 14.99 USD and ads in a whole bunch of ‘masks’ and costumes for the game that will let you look like all of your favorite characters from Resident Evil past. Chris Redfield, Albert Wesker, Leon S. Kennedy, Barry Burton, and Jake Muller just to name few but I’m sure you can spy a few more in the following trailer. Also, if you don’t want to pick up this DLC separately you can bundle it with the core game for $39.99 USD…little bonus…

Umbrella Corps — Return To Raccoon City And The RPD Building

Two new maps offer a spin on familiar locales from the classic Resident Evil games and will be featured in multiplayer modes as well as The Experiment single player mode. The Raccoon City map features wide open city streets contrasted against a claustrophobic maze-like sewer system underneath. Players can take cover behind vehicles above ground, while cutting a path through the underground could prove to be advantageous. The Police Station map is scattered with makeshift barricades throughout the halls but the overall lack of hiding places will maximize the frequent close quarter encounters. Using available cover effectively and utilizing the Tactical Shield for added protection will be the key to survival here.

If you are completely sold on picking up Umbrella Corps already then there is also a nice little added bonus for you as well. That would be in terms of a pre-order bonus that you can get by picking up any version of the game and will include the “Fashion Victim Pack.” Many just a whole lot of flash and shiny armor for you to wear as well as a nifty PS4 theme for those who opt for that path. Just another little bit of extra spice after all for Capcom to peddle out there.

Are you glad to see these locations join the list of maps for Umbrella Corps? Do you think they are just early version of the RE2 remake that is coming or just for this game? Do any of these bits of DLC entice you just a bit more to shell out for the game or is it just shelling extra little bits for you to buy? Let us know what you are thinking down in the comments and discuss. For all things Umbrella Corps keep your eyes right here as we will bring you all of the up to date news that we can as we head closer to the release of the title.
