You Are Going To Have To Wait A Bit Longer For The Horrors Of Zoochosis

Zoochosis — New Release Date

A delay has hit Zoochosis with the game getting a new release date for us all to dive into the upcoming Zoochosis

The wait for Zoochosis continues as it looks as if we have a delay we are going to have to deal with for the game. Originally, it was slated to drop on September 23rd to give us all of the new horrors out there. Clapperheads just did not think the game was ready for that date, so now we are going to have to wait until September 30th to see what Zoochosis is going to toss onto the PC out there. Okay, so it is just a week to wait, and is closer to Halloween, so this is not the worst thing ever. Just something for us all to keep in mind when looking at our gaming libraries out there. Update those calendars out there now.

Nothing specific was listed for why the extra week is needed for Zoochosis, but it most likely was not anything massive with such a slight delay. Maybe it was to iron out a few bugs and let the updates have some time to be tested before it hits the public. Maybe it was to allow the distribution systems time to get the full game loaded up and ready for us all. Nonetheless, we have a week to wait for Zoochosis to see how this new bodycam horror will function out there while we all survive the infected animals of the zoo. Maybe this was to give some of the animations a little bit of extra flair and blood to creep us out further with Zoochosis. I am still excited for this one to launch out there and cannot wait to slate it into the spooky season list now.

Zoochosis — New Release Date

Zoochosis will now launch on PC via Steam on 30 September 2024, instead of the previously planned date of 23 September.

Prepare for an unparalleled trip down your worst nightmares with Zoochosis, a horror game where every heartbeat is captured through the lens of a bodycam strapped to your chest. Embark on your maiden night shift in the zoo, as routine tasks of animal care and monitoring take a sinister turn. The once docile animals are infected and are slowly transforming into savage mutants fueled by an insatiable thirst for blood.

Identify the infected animals and concoct a cure before the contagion spreads its tendrils throughout the zoo. As the night deepens, the line between survival and demise blurs. Your resolve to save the innocent creatures will be tested and your choices will shape the outcome of this harrowing ordeal. But at what cost?

Zoochosis is a spine-chilling bodycam horror simulation game where you play a zookeeper about to start their first night shift. As you strap on your bodycam and go about your rounds, you notice strange behavior from some of the animals in the enclosures, unlike anything you have ever seen. A terrifying parasite is spreading, mutating some of the animals into grotesque versions of themselves, blood-thirsty and ready to do anything to kill you to escape. You must identify the infected animals and make vaccines to cure them before the parasite spreads out of control and to the wider zoo. Unravel the mysteries of the zoo and save the animals to save yourself, as your choices will ultimately determine your ending. Will you survive the night?

Features:

  • Become The Night Zookeeper: Interact with the animals, take care of them, choose and prepare their meals, restock, and clean up after them in the enclosure.
  • Save The Animals!: Something is terribly wrong with the animals. Can you unravel the mysteries of the zoo and save them? You must discover the cause of the infection, create a vaccine, and cure them before it’s too late.
  • Choices Matter: Which animals will you save? How will you cure them? Your decisions will be key to your survival and the ultimate ending of the story.
  • Bodycam Footage: Strap on your bodycam and capture all the terrifying events of the evening. Explore the darkest corners of the zoo with a unique perspective adding a new level of tension and horror to your quest.

Are you sad with the delay of Zoochosis or will this line up better for you and how you are playing your video games? Was this to clean up a few things in the game or was this something on Steam’s side that had to push it all out a bit more? Does this place it better in the season for playing horror games now or should they have pushed it out two weeks instead? Creep on down to the comment section to discuss it all as you all so wish. If there is another update for Zoochosis, we will share it all with you here. Please keep on checking back in for those updates and the many others we have in the works too.
