Batman: Arkham Shadow Shows Us How We Will Become The Knight In Gameplay

Batman: Arkham Shadow — Gameplay

New gameplay for Batman: Arkham Shadow is out there to give us a better taste on how we will become Batman

Get ready to take one more step towards becoming the Knight with some new gameplay we have for Batman: Arkham Shadow. Gameplay that was highly shown off during Gamescom and to help us all get a better feel for what Camouflaj will be giving us all when the game lands on the VR headsets out there. It is still slated for October, so the wait should not be much longer for all of this, but there is still not a specific date we can look to become Batman out there. That just gives us all more time to get into the groove of what it all could potentially be without the physical exertion and loss of parents out there…

As you will be able to see below, this new gameplay will place us right into the shoes of Bruce Wayne and Batman in the game. Giving us some of the classic detective work and puzzling that feels right at home in a VR setting. Then we get to dive into the higher action of it all as we get some of the combat in the mix. Combat that does look like it is going to be closer to the versions we have had in the Batman: Arkham games so far, even if that feels like it will be disorienting quickly. The following video does help to show that the team has taken care to make it feel a little less frantic than the flat screen versions of the past, while also still leaving in enough of the free-flow to feel like it is right at home. Have a look and see if it is going to make you dizzy.

Batman: Arkham Shadow — Gameplay

Become The Knight. October 2024. Only on Meta Quest 3.

This time around, you are Batman. Set between Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham Asylum, step into the shoes of Bruce Wayne as he takes on the Rat King, a dangerous new criminal with a cultish following.

Reunite with iconic characters such as Harleen Quinzel, Jim Gordon, Harvey Dent, Dr. Crane, and more. See who (if any) become villains.

Made exclusively for VR, you can experience Gotham City like never before in this immersive, full-length entry into the Arkham franchise.

Did you expect the combat to be a little less like the Batman: Arkham titles or does this feel like the right level to you? Will we have more the detective and puzzle gameplay in the mix instead of the combat to help with things? Will it be odd to play a game set in between one of the weaker titles in the line and then one of the best ones? Swoop on down to the comment section to let those thoughts flow out there to the world and then keep on discussing it all. We will have more for Batman: Arkham Shadow in the coming weeks, so please keep on checking back in for all of those updates and the many others we have on the out there. I know you will be glad that you did.
