Gori: Cuddly Carnage Is Trying To Save Many Lives With Some Extra Blood

Gori: Cuddly Carnage — Got Blood?

New censorships for Gori: Cuddly Carnage have been laid down but Gori and the team are looking to help us out with that

We all knew things were going to get bloody for Gori: Cuddly Carnage from all of the videos and gameplay we have had already. So much blood that Angry Demon Studio has packed into the game for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC for August 29th. Sadly, it looks like some territories are not happy about that and now China and Korea will be getting “purple juice” from Gori instead. Not overly surprising given the way all of the cultures of the world function out there. But, not to be brought down by this change to their dream, the development team and publisher are looking to give back more blood to the world to make up for this slight loss due to censorship.

While we have a bit of new gameplay for Gori: Cuddly Carnage to take in, the bigger announcement is that the teams are pushing for a blood donation drive in the UK, Sweden, and the US. Partly as a joke to retaliate to the new censorships, but also to get gamers out there trying to help the world community. By that, if you go out to donate, and post to your chosen social media about it using the #GorisGotBlood tag, then you are going to get called out in the credits of the game. A fun little extra to have for doing a good thing and helping to further promote the game too. Have a look at the new trailer now, if you have not already, but then follow the respective links further down to sign up and donate. Even if you do not care about getting the special shout-out for doing so.

This additional round of censorships got the teams thinking.

With all the blood saved, Wired Productions and Angry Demon Studio decided to donate their blood in the UK and Sweden, in the hope of making a real-world impact and now they’re calling for players to do the same!

Anyone who shares selfies of themselves giving blood on X or Instagram, along with hashtag #GorisGotBlood will feature during the game’s credits as ‘lifesavers’.
