Take On 9-TORG In New Gameplay For High On Life

High On Life — 9-TORG Fight

New gameplay is here for High On Life out of Gamescom to have us take on one of the bosses in High On Life

So many gamers out at Gamescom are finally getting in on High On Life with some new gameplay. It might suck for those that cannot make it out there, but Squanch Games has made sure that the rest of the world is not fully missing out. They are doing so by offering up some new gameplay for us all to ingest for High On Life to show off how some of the gunplay and bosses in the world will function out there. All of that and much more of the amazing humor we know we will get hours of when the game comes. Even if it is now hitting the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on December 13th this year. It is a bit of a delay now, but it is all looking like it will be fully worth it all.

9-TORG looks to be one of the earlier bosses we will have to hunt down in High On Life while using our gun and knife to bring them down. That and make sure we do not get burnt by the sludge out there while using the alt uses of the knife to swing around the map. It is an interesting take on things but ends up feeling like another shooter in the mix. It is not a bad thing, but outside of the setting and humor, so far, High On Life feels like it will be just a fun and stylized shooter to enjoy. Have a look at the boss fight now and get a better feel for what will be going on in the boss fights of the game.

High On Life — 9-TORG Fight

As featured at Gamescom 2022. High On Life will arrive on December 13, 2022!

From the mind of Justin Roiland (Rick and Morty, Solar Opposites) comes High On Life. Humanity is being threatened by an alien cartel who wants to use them as drugs. It’s up to you to rescue and partner with charismatic, talking guns, take down Garmantuous and his gang, and save the world!

If that was not enough High On Life for you, then hold onto your shirts. We have a whole lot more for you to take in right now too. More or less, it is the twenty minutes that lead up to the above boss fight here. This shows off a bit more of the world and various other aspects of the world that have become here for us. It is a bit more shooting and dialog for our characters here, but it does show that High On Life will have a bit more on the platforming and puzzle solving in the game. Just like the above footage, it is nothing overly deviating from the genre so far, but it still looks like it will be a blast to get to experience first-person when it does land.

High On Life — 25-Minutes Of Gameplay

Get a look at 25 minutes of murderous goo, sad aliens, and a lot of filthy language, as we dive into one of High On Life’s early missions.

How sad are you to find out that High On Life will be pushed out a month or two now? Do you think that there will be much more to the game that we have yet to see to make it stand out as a shooter or will it all boil down to the humor and weirdness of the game’s world? What other mechanics do you expect to see along the way or will it all be based on the guns and their alt-fire to mix things up along the way? Go ahead and tell us all down in the comments what you are thinking about all of this and then feel free to discuss it all. More for High On Life will be on the way soon, so keep checking in for all of that and much more.
