Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Divulges A Bit More Of The Story For Us

Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy — Story

A new story trailer for Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy is out here to give us a better understanding of what the Guardians will be up to

Slowly before the October 26th release date we are getting a bit more of a solid story for Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy. At least enough of the story to get us all hooked in with something solid beyond just heading out on random missions with the team, that is. I know I would not be adverse to just having that in general, but I also know that Eidos-Montréal does like to tell their stories in the mix of all of the fun gameplay. Now we have a bit more of that defined for Guardians to take in and get us ready to possibly get things done. If anything, have a fun time taking down an intergalactic cult that is out there trying to ruin everyone’s days and nights.

Yes, that seems to be part of the story that we have here for the game, as it was teased in the last video before this. The Church of Truth is out there trying to force everyone into their order but the Guardians have been paid to not let that happen. That or they were recruited in by Cosmo the Dog. It is still a little fuzzy, but that is how we like some of this. If anything, we have a bit more of the gameplay to see here that shows us that we will have some space combat in the Milano. It is hard to tell how involved it will be here but there is a shot of the ship doing some of those evasive maneuvers needed to keep the Guardians in the land of the living. Have a quick look at it all just below and expect things to be drastically different in the final build of it all. I would hope that the team would not spoil any of the major aspects of the story just yet.

Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy — Story

Twelve years ago, a massive Galactic War swept across the cosmos. Star-Lord, seeing an opportunity for adventure and profit in a universe that’s finally moving on, recently formed the Guardians Of The Galaxy to sell their services as heroes-for-hire. But now, a grand organization known as the Universal Church of Truth promises to bring back everything that was lost in the Galactic War. Powered by their faith, they’re spreading their beliefs to more and more worlds. It’ll soon be up to the Guardians to save the galaxy. No guts, no glory.

Does this about sum up what you were expecting out of the Guardians or is it all a new spin that was not expected from the past videos? Do you think this will be some true space combat for us in the game or will that be a small scene that just looks like it will be gameplay? How many other villains and characters will get involved over the run of this game and will we see some other off-the-wall characters added in for fun? Give us all of those thoughts down in the comments and then feel free to discuss as you wish. When we have more to share for Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy, we will update the site with it all. Just be sure to keep checking back in for all of that and much more.
