New gameplay is here for The Outer Worlds’ upcoming DLC that gives us a feel for how it will add to the overall experience for The Outer Worlds
Next week on September 9th we are going to have another reason to head back into The Outer Worlds and experience what the game still has for us. The first big narrative DLC for the game is coming and we have a bit more of a look at what this will be adding to the overall game. I mean, besides more story and all of the things that go along with that so far in The Outer Worlds. It looks like other features may be added or altered for the DLC and this is why we are back to see just what it will all hold. Even if some of it looks to be a different way of doing similar things in other titles out there.
The first big thing you can see in this is that the choices in The Outer Worlds are going to be here and playing a strong part again. Not that we did not have all of that from before, but it is something big to take in yet again. Especially when you look at the mission we have here were we can bypass all kinds of extra details and get to a different end depending on how we go about things. It is tried to be played up by a change in audio logs, but it is more of a different name for the same thing, so do not expect too much of a deviation from The Outer Worlds than we have had. Maybe just a bit more color and a lot more talking is what we are seeing here.
The Outer Worlds — Peril On Gorgon Gameplay Walkthrough
Join Game Director Carrie Patel as she plays through a new mission from The Outer Worlds: Peril On Gorgon, the first narrative expansion to the critically-acclaimed and award-winning sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division coming September 9th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
A severed arm and a mysterious message lead the crew of the Unreliable to the Gorgon Asteroid, formerly the site of one of Halcyon’s most ambitious and disastrous scientific undertakings, now a lawless den of monsters and marauders. Wealthy recluse Minnie Ambrose tasks the crew with finding answers about Dr. Olivia Ambrose, her mother, and the doomed project’s disgraced director, but they are soon ensnared in an intrigue that will change the colony forever.
The Outer Worlds: Peril On Gorgon is the first of two narrative expansions that can be purchased individually or bundled at a discount in The Outer Worlds Expansion Pass.
Are you fully ready for this DLC to hit The Outer Worlds and will it have you loading the game back up after all this time? Do you find it weird that they called it something different but it was still an Audio Log? Does any of that matter and you just want back into the game’s universe to explore and solve things just as before? Let us know all of those answers and more down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more to share for The Outer Worlds, you know we will have it all here. Just be sure to keep checking in for all of that and much, much more.
