Take The New Popemobile For A Spin In Serious Sam 4

Serious Sam 4 — Popemobile

New gameplay for Serious Sam 4 is here just before launch to give us a new way Serious Sam will be taking down these hordes

As if Serious Sam 4 was not already going to be “next level” when it came to the insanity we will get to play within the game, here we have a look at a new bit of gameplay that introduces to a new way to get around in the game’s world. Not only get around but take down all of those beasts that are out there ravaging the world as we know it. Just in the way that Croteam has gone in the Serious Sam games before, we are getting a little more “extra” here. We have the ability and need to get into the Popemobile in the game to continue our rampage. Not just any Popemobile though, but the new one that comes with a little extra kick that we might not have expected.

This one is a new mechanized version that will have Sam jumping into the cockpit and gunning down everything that moves and should not be on the planet. We are talking a mech suit here with all the big guns that a Serious Sam game should have. It looks like it will have the same basic mechanics as many other versions we have seen in many other video games over the years, but all with that little extra flare we would expect from a game as Serious Sam 4. Have a look at it all down below and then count the days until it launches for the PC on September 24th.

Serious Sam 4 — Popemobile Gameplay

Humanity is under siege as the full force of Mental’s hordes spread across the world, ravaging what remains of a broken and beaten civilization. The last remaining resistance to the invasion is the Earth Defense Force led by Sam “Serious” Stone and his heavily-armed squad of misfit commandos.

Croteam returns with a high-powered prequel to the Serious Sam series that scales up chaos to unprecedented levels. The classic Serious Sam formula is revamped by putting an unstoppable arsenal up against an unimaginable number of enemies that requires players to circle-strafe and backpedal-blast their way out of impossible situations.

Did you ever expect less than this for a Serious Sam title or is this a nice little surprise to have? Do you think it will mix things up for the mechanics or will it be the same we know and love from before? Would you want to see the real-world Pope rolling around in this or are you glad it is only in the video game here? Let us have those burning answers to our burning questions down below and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more to offer up for Serious Sam 4, it will be on the site for you. Just be sure to keep coming back for all of that and much more.
