The release date for Conan Chop Chop is pushed out once again with us all having to wait just a bit longer for the silly Conan action
The wait seems to continue for Conan Chop Chop as a new delay has hit the development for this rouge-like party-game. Something that was supposed to only be a joke and Mighty Kingdom stepped up and tried to make it real. The game is still coming out to us on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC but now there is no solid release date set down. For those who have missed the previous one, Conan Chop Chop was supposed to drop in Q2 of this year and now it will be coming to us some time in 2020. There just is no new date or range to give now.
The reason for this delay is not laid out outside of the team needing more time to work on Conan Chop Chop. This could mean anything and could be linked to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the announcement from Funcom is short and to the point more than anything. It is just below the video we have seen before that gives us a taste of the Holiday Special coming to Conan Chop Chop. Have a look as a reminder and then see the basic announcement that the wait is going to be continuing a bit more. I hope it is not too far off and maybe will come back with a next-gen announcement too.
Conan Chop Chop — Holiday Special
The rogue-lite party-game Conan Chop Chop, previously scheduled for release in Q2 2020, has had its release date moved to allow for further development. The game is still due to release in 2020, but the exact date will be announced at a later time.
Are you sad to see that Conan Chop Chop is going to be pushed out just a bit more or do you see it as a good thing? What do you think it going to be the real reason for all of this and will it make the game that much better? Could this be to make sure the game works well on the next-gen systems or is it something to do with the pandemic that is still going on? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is a new update for Conan Chop Chop, we will update you all here. Be sure to keep checking back in for all of that and more.
