DOOM Eternal’s Battlemode Is On Display For Those Multiplayer Fans

DOOM Eternal — Key Art

A new look at DOOM Eternal’s Battlemode is here so you can have a good feel for how the multiplayer of DOOM Eternal will feel at launch

I am sure that there are many out there that were upset when they heard that DOOM Eternal was not going to have a crazy and extensive multiplayer mode built-in. I am talking like the multiple different modes and other things that other titles out there have and would have split the attention of id Software to do properly. I say all of that as DOOM Eternal is still getting a multiplayer mode called Battlemode and it will be out there when the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Something that we should expect in these game now and maybe Bethesda will keep this trend going in the future so we get great modes and not a bunch of shitty ones.

That all said, we have a look at this new mode for DOOM Eternal now and we get to see how this 2v1 mode will actually flow. That is one doomhunter versus two demons in the mode. You can see some matches in flow down below that highlights the fact that the hunter gets all of the ammo and weapons to be able to survive and slay everything, as well as the demons having their in-game abilities and the ability to summon other lesser demons. The interesting part being that we are not going to be seeing a time limit to these matches in DOOM Eternal either so it ends when the slayer kills both big demons or they kill the slayer. Something that could take hours for skilled players indeed…
