You May Feel A Bit Less At Ease With The Dark Pictures — Man Of Medan

The Dark Pictures — Man Of Medan — Dev Diary #2 Pt. 2

The next dev diary for The Dark Pictures — Man Of Medan is here to give us a look at the lighting and other key elements of Man Of Medan to put us less at ease

We get to dive a bit deeper into Man Of Medan with the latest developer diary that is now out there. At least for those who interested in seeing how this horror title is being put together and just what Supermassive Games will be using to freak us out. There are so many aspects to it all that can be used to build tension and fear and this time we get to see the lighting and camera work side of it all. It is interesting to know that many out there still do not get this and it is most likely why Man Of Medan will scare them more and more. That is the point of the game at the end of it all, so I guess that is a good thing.

This latest diary goes into the specifics between of “natural” light and artificial in Man Of Medan to set the moods and feeling that will place us all less at ease on a subconscious level. This goes in from basic lighting choices as well as other elements and effects that will go off during scenes. Mix in the different camera effects that will make us feel like an unseen observer in the story and we will see a solid immersion into all of this horror. Something that will most likely not need to resort to jump scares to get the job done. That is, at least, how Man Of Medan looks to be shaping up here so far. I could be wrong when it comes to the actual launch.
