Intercept The Storm With The Javelins Of Anthem

Anthem — Javelins

Two new videos for Anthem are out there detailing two of the main javelins in Anthem with some different loadouts

Earlier in the week we saw how good Anthem could potentially look if you are willing to buy all the latest and greatest hardware out there. It is what they seem to be pushing out at CES this year more than anything. That does not always sell games though so we are back with more from BioWare for the game so we can at least see how it could play in our hands. February 22nd is getting ever closer and I know I want to see how each of the javelins in Anthem will handle or differ. That is what we have to look at now. Even if it is in a way that I think EA may not be overly happy with the visual side of things.

First up, we have the Storm Javelin that kind of does what the name states. It is more of an overwatch style of suit for Anthem as its advantage is all about staying up in the sky overlooking the map and raining down hell from above. It does some massive damage, but it cannot take much in return. It has its ways to mitigate that, but it has its tradeoffs and skill needed in Anthem to be able to do it all. You can get a better understanding by watching the latest video just below.

The next Anthem javelin we have here is the Interceptor. A faster and more agile javelin that uses the game’s maps and space to its advantage. It looks to have a lot of similar capabilities as the Storm javelin, in basics, but it has the ability fluidly move around, get up close, and kill with precision. Just the way some of us would rather play in the game than watching from afar. Especially when you see its special is like a berserker rage that allows us to wade in and deal out massive damage in Anthem while staying invulnerable.

How do you feel about these two javelins in Anthem and do you see one that will be your main in the game? Do you agree that they do look to have a lot of the same moves and abilities or will they all be completely different in the end? Which other javelin are you looking to see fleshed out for the game? Let us know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. When we have more to share for Anthem, we will share it all here. Just be sure to stick around and keep checking in on the site for all of that.
